Coop Missions
Hi,
Who would like to join? I would like to host coop missions (for now only the eleven default ones) in LAN.
Don´t know whether it will work, I played on CM servers in 2011.
I am also not sure about the compatibility of game versions - I use file ofdr.exe from OFDR+v1.02+Res+Fix+and+Mods+enabled.rar
What time of day would be suitable for you? [hs:ms am/pm GMT] For me anytime will be fine (however best would be 10am until 11 pm GMT). Use for help http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_DE.aspx
(example: germany)
Lets schedule a LAN appointment, I will be online then and will do as described here (thx, mdog!):

Re: Coop Missions
Anyone interested in playing some co op, Island war, This is war, I always get bored playing these missions by myself, would like to get a fire team together to play these missions all the way through.
Set up a game night / nights and finally play tactically through these missions using a microphone.
Anyone interested I can play most nights and weekends.
cheers dewi

Re: Coop Missions
Hi Vince,
Ping is my biggest issue. I can play reasonably smoothly on 350 or less.
Where about's are you? I live in Australia... I have a bit of issue (400+ ping) playing with Mdog and dewi... but if you where somewhere in between us it just might overcome this issue?

Tj, I haven't seen Vince around here for a while, Dewi has dugg up this thread. Vince's post was back in Feb.
Re: Coop Missions
I would love to find the time for some CO-OP, so if I get lucky I will see someone mission side.
As for compatibility issues between players, DR version compatibility was more of an issue when they were running the lobby on Quazal, so I don't have an answer on LAN side (my hunch is there may be some - best to run v1.02 vanilla or with the ACIDMOD.
As for mission compatibility, that did seem to be an issue from the HOST player as players were dropped after the mission loaded up. Remember it is the HOST that controlling the AI, the MISSION objectives, even the weapon load-outs and ballistics - basically everything that the mission contains. The players can tweak the graphics and effects through the mods.
Hope some of that info helps as it was lost with the old CM boards.

Re: Coop Missions
I'd be up to play coop. I was always able to host with friends even if I was running mods as long as they had the mission files while maintaining no lag or drops.
