Re: JoeDog's OffTopic
doesn't look too bad! I know its in alpha stages but the animation on the movement looks abit dated. Plus the AI look bit naff!
If they work well on those things they might have a corker for coop tactical gameplay. Being a fan of the orginal rainbow six games, I can see the similarity between that and SWAT aswell. Plus having a plan from the beginning is what makes a it a tacticians game. That was one of the main reasons I enjoyed RS and GR.

Re: JoeDog's OffTopic
don't need the lite ticket. I have a funny story anyway.
My boss at work owns a boat, it is based in a placed called Conway, North Wales. He and the my mate who is chief instructor at the site I work at, went out there one day to see the boat and do some work on it. they are both big into sailing and thought this was a good day to go.
While they were there, they were sat on a bench on the quayside, having a bite to eat. My boss said he had to nip off to find a place to take a leak. He must have been gone about ten minutes or so. when he came back, my boss saw my mate, chatting to a woman who was walking her dogs.
"Can't take him anywhere!" he thought, my mate being a ladies man and all. So as my boss got closer, my boss thought something isn't quite right about this picture???
As soon as the woman in question noticed my boss arrive, in a very deep toned voice the woman said, "ok nice talking to you, hope to see you again!". Then Left!
Turns out the woman was a transvestite, chatting up my mate on the quayside! LMAO!
Seemed quite funny the first time I heard this becasue the day before we were talking about the prices of local prostitutes, and what they would charge for certain things.

nice!
is it me or is the view too much on a steadicam - seems that dashboard (chassis) shake should be translating itself to the horizon - or is that adjustable?

I have Race 07 by these guys and it kicks ass. I tried this but its SP only I believe. Here is Race07
I have one copy left on Steam and I am willing to give it up for... an AWESOME post on the forums. And i mean AWESOME! I will let MDog decide the winner. Send me an email address when decided.... This game has a TON of Addon cars, tracks for cheap on Steam and is a great playing racing game. I am no racer by all means but this game is awesome. You can download the demo on Steam as well. Check out the Steam page for this. Hell it is only 3.99 to buy as well.

Re: JoeDog's OffTopic
sadly, the psychology underlying this is all too true and demonstrates how the future of our society may deal with issues that traditionally related to common sense, practicality or even a sense of justice.
This type of mass branding and public enrollment is alive and well in all the merchandising revenues and opinions generated that can be found in everything from political parties to televised sports.
In many ways, it is the worst type of self-induced slavery - nurtured by media - cultivated by corporations - underwritten by government (or are those last two the other way around).
pretty Orwellian when you step back a bit...
/sigh/
an excellent documentary of how this began can be found in this raely promoted BBC Documentary
