Modifying Existing files.

This is a more common sense than anything!

With varying degrees of programming knowledge here from the no-nothing to the absolute well rounded in many program languages, I thought it best to point this out to everyone and also it is here for any new members that arrive after this post.

The existing files that are already in circulation for DR have been modified for the better of the users experience in DR either through playing the game or through mission making etc. These files have been worked on for years now and become what they are. Errors have been solved, stumbling blocks overcome and new files have been created out of hundreds of man hours of hard work.

If you intend to modify any existing files that have been created by the community, please post in the forum your intentions before going ahead and actually doing it. Request advice from the author and ask questions first if you have any.

If you know what you are doing when it comes to re-configuring files thats fine, but still using a bit of common courtesy will go along way.
